Carpenter was selected to be the 2024 national focus school for the Rock Your School initiative. This Rock Your School Pep Rally was held on September 23, 2024, and it included appearances by Principal Martinez, Hope & Wade King, Mario Lopez, Kidz Bop, Ninja Kids, Jessie Usher, Titus O'Neil, and Justin Willman. Students were encouraged to dress like a character from the film, Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory. Why Willy Wonka? That film has been selected for Carpenter's upcoming, annual Movie Night.
