Focus on Science

Did you know what the States of Matter were at age 6?

Did you know what a solute, solvent, solution and precipitate were at age 10?

Could you explain basic physics at age 7?

Our kids do and our kids can.

We are proud to have Josselyn Pacheco serve as our lead science teacher for all TK-5 students.

Ms. Pacheco has been a STEM Education Facilitator with the company (STEM & More) for the past four years.  This company sends professional teachers into classrooms to teach science instruction and keep students engaged in high level learning.  During the sessions, this company encourages the school’s teachers and staff to become a part of the teaching process and learning experience of the STEAM curriculum.  While working for this group, Ms. Pacheco worked at multiple schools across the city during the week.  She is proficient in the Next Generation Science Standards and Common Core Curriculum.  She also and has a great deal of experience managing students, organizing materials, and communicating with staff.
