On May 31, 2026, the Cougar Drum Corps performed on Sunset Blvd. at the Whiskey A Go Go for the STAR programs annual Rock Star celebration.

On May 30, 2026, Carpenter's girls basketball team won the city championship vs. the Toluca Lake Tigers. The Lady Cougars were down by 6 at halftime and battled back to win 31-23.

On May 30, 2026, Carpenter's BOYS basketball team won the all-city championship vs. the Van Gogh Starry Knights.

On May 31, Carpenter will hold its annual New Family Picnic to officially welcome all the new families joining our school community for the 2026-2027 school year.

Both of our teams (Boys & Girls) won their semi-final games at Contreras Learning Complex on Saturday, May 23, 2026. They now will play for the all-city championship in both devisions on Saturday, May 30, at a location and time TBA.

4/22/26 Testing pep rally included the drum corps, chorus, basketball teams (boys & girls), and the robotics team.

Carpenter had four teams compete on March 1, 2026 at the Vex Robotics State Championship with one of those teams qualifying for the World Championship.

Carpenter will hold its annual non-resident lottery on Friday, February 20, at 9AM in Café West. Prospective parents are invited to attend either in-person or via Zoom.

All kindergarten students are participating in our annual Checkers instructional program and tournament.

All first grade students participate in a 5-week Mancala instructional program and tournament.
