Dodger Outfielder, Teoscar Hernandez, surprises students by wearing the school mascot's head at the ceremony.

2nd Annual Dodger Parade

Carpenter held its 2nd annual Dodger Parade to celebrate the recent championship won by the Los Angeles Dodgers. Dodger player, Teoscar Hernandez, was the special guest for the event. In his speech, Teoscar spoke to students about the importance of being a great teammate and the origins of his famous sunflower seed showers to celebrate with his team.

it's been a whirlwind for the Dodgers since winning the World Series from the parade to Jimmy Kimmel Live to raising canes and even a lucky school I witnessed the putter Ashley Mackey has more on the festivities the parade is over but the party does doesn't stop Dodger fans got to celebrate this morning with Dodgers catcher Will Smith at a Raising Canes in Hollywood this coming only days after hitting a game-winning home run in the 11th inning of game 7 of the World Series Smith walking us through the moment he says he'll always cherish the round of first giving Woody the first base coach High 5 you know waving out to the bullpen coming around and seeing Freddy there uh The Dugout was out of the uh all the guys are out of the Dugout and just fired up that was that was special I remember that for forever there you go on the other combo that's better you and Kershaw Smith traded in his mitt for Kane's headset for a good cost today after taking orders and serving up chicken fingers Raising Canes presented Smith with a 1 $100,000 check for his nonprofit the caching Hope Foundation it's so surreal I mean I I said in the Outfield about 400 ft away from him and to be 3 ft it's crazy uh wow it's it's personal I'm at the ATM space that's what I call it in Smith wasn't the only Dodger out in about today Tate Oscar Hernandez surprised some smaller but just as excited Dodger fans here at Carpenter Community Charter School in Studio City who dresses up is Cuddle where the Cougars here at Carpenter so he came out in a cougar head and uh we did an unveiling in front of all 900 kids in the response was tremendous we held our parade and uh he was gracious enough to give high fives so just every kid in our school in Studio City Ashley Mackey ABC7 eyewitness
