Corie Mattie was commissioned to create a P-22 mural for Carpenter's playground to honor L.A.'s famous mountain lion and Carpenter's school mascot. This mural was made possible by generous donations from the Studio City Neighborhood Council, Carpenter's booster club (PFC), and the Tashroudian family.
On November 10, 2025 Carpenter will officially be unveiling a new school mural by renowned L.A. Muralist, Corie Mattie, famous for her P-22 murals.
