Emergency Procedures

EMERGENCY PROCEDURES

It is imperative that the school have a current, complete Emergency Card for each student at the school. This card includes a list of people authorized to pick up your child in the event of fire, earthquake, or other emergency. Please immediately notify the school when any change of address, phone number, or contact status occurs. Information on major emergency procedures, including the use of the Request and Reunion Gates on Laurel Canyon, will be distributed during the school year.

In order to ensure that our students are prepared for emergencies, we have fire drills once a month and earthquake/disaster drills throughout the school year. Please talk to your child or children about the importance of being prepared for emergencies, both at school and at home. It is also a good idea to practice emergency procedures at home.
